Hi, I’m Noah.
they/them

I use an anti-oppression framework in my work with clients and recognize that you are the expert on you - not me, not your parents, and certainly not the DSM.  Together, we will take a holistic approach to your mental health that promotes empowerment and feeling more agency with your mind and body. I work collaboratively with my clients to uncover their unique values and strengths while identifying practical strategies and resources to make life more comfortable now. In our sessions, it is important to me that you are able to show up as your full self, unmask, relax the tension in your body, and be seen.

Therapy done divergently.

I created Iridescent Therapy & Wellness to provide a space where therapy work is done differently. At Iridescent Therapy & Wellness, neurodivergent identities are celebrated and lifted up rather than pathologized. We will work together to identify the supports you need to feel more comfortable in your daily life, while learning to place the blame for your struggles where it belongs - on the systems that create and maintain oppression.

“We have been taught to fear the very things that have the potential to set us free”

 More About Me

My journey toward becoming a therapist was sparked by my own challenges with feeling understood and affirmed as a young queer person seeking professional support. As someone who knows first hand how harmful the mental health field can be, I feel honored to be able to provide a warm and affirming space for my clients to explore themselves and engage in healing.

Before founding Iridescent Therapy & Wellness, I provided therapy to teens at a domestic violence shelter and ran support groups at my local LGBTQ+ youth center. I also spent time supporting youth with behavior-related challenges in the public school setting. This cumulation of experience has fueled my passion for creating a safer, more affirming world for trans youth.

When I’m not providing gender-affirming therapy or autism/adhd assessments, I can often be found outside with a dog or two by my side. I love listening to and thinking/talking about music. My other interests include: photography, strength training, and visual journaling.
